The SERVE’ is born out of passion, dedication and commitment for the transformation of deprived, marginalized and powerless communities, towards a life with dignity.
The ‘SERVE’s priority is to get engaged in educating the children building skill of youth and empowering the community irrespective of their caste, creed, and religion, social and political identities.
It is an initiative of group of persons with dedication, experience, competency and expertise in social change & development process,
It is a registered not -for-profit organization, registered under the society Act, in West Bengal in 2003. It is also registered under 12A & 80G under Income Tax Act & Ministry of Home Affair under FCRA. We work through community based organization and empowerment approach.
The SERVE presently covers 60 villages in 4 districts of West Bengal, Burdwan, Bankura, Malda and Midnapore. The focused groups are predominantly from the scheduled cast and Schedule tribe community.

Mission:The SERVE is committed to secure better future for the deprived children ,promoting enabled improved learning environment and ensuring child friendly education system. Preparing, equipping and empowering the rural community & slum dwellers to lead and sustain the process ,with skill, knowledge ,information and negotiating ability , irrespective of caste, creed, religion ,social and political differences.
