Our Work with Children
At SERVE, children are at the heart of our mission. As a child-focused organization, we work to create scope, space, and opportunities for quality education. Our goal is to ensure enrollment, reduce dropouts, and help children complete school with a better understanding of lessons.
Key Initiatives:
Remedial Education Centers: Supporting school-going children to minimize dropouts and ensure 100% school attendance. Currently, 650 children benefit from 10 centers.
Nutrition Support: Improving children’s health and well-being through targeted nutritional interventions.
Medical Camps: Regular health check-ups and medical support for children to promote overall health.
Free Academic Coaching: Special coaching for classes 7–10 for marginalized students, aiming for 70% or higher marks in school exams.
Inter-School Sports and Science Exhibitions: Encouraging creativity, sportsmanship, and holistic learning.
Sports Support: Strengthening school sports teams by providing essential sports materials to government schools.
Child-Friendly Formal Education: Ensuring an enabling environment in schools, making learning more engaging and accessible.
Advocacy: Engaging community leaders to raise awareness about educational needs and ensure continuity in formal education.
Learning Modules: Developing innovative learning modules to enhance interest and understanding among children.
Through these initiatives, SERVE ensures that children are empowered, supported, and equipped to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
